Kinds of workshop intervention

The workshops I have been involved in for European projects have all been about "partnership".

Applying PCM to the cultural heritage project: the Balcan experience

|

Hi everybody,
as new members of the soundplanning community, together with my colleague Claudia Onnis, I would like to share our experience in applying the PCM  methodology in the framework of a new cooperation project managed by Formez: the Balkan Project for  “Innovation and Cohesion of Central and Local Public Administrations in the Balkan Region”.

To start

It is a pleasure to have a space in which to share with other pratictioners my experiences in applying PCM. As a facilitator I started to use GOPP and PCM about 5 years ago.

A practitioner's blog

My blog is written from the point of view of the PCM practitioner. Specifically, as a workshop facilitator, PCM trainer and consultant on the use of PCM and PCM-tools in organisations, I will focus on my own experience in applying these approaches.
This will be an occasional blog: as interesting experiences arise I will share them with this community in the hope that it will help generate interest and the sharing of ideas.
I am a British national, based (since the mid-70's) in the Netherlands. My contact with PCM (and related tools like LFA and GOPP) dates back to the 1990's when we first helped the Innovation Programme (then DG XIII, now DG Enterprise) of the Commission with the introduction of Goal-Oriented Project Planning (GOPP) as a working method. Since then I have conducted many participative workshops to assist European projects with their planning and partnerships, and trained facilitators (or moderators) in these approaches.
