In the context of the annual Open Days of the European Week of Regions and Cities, this workshop was aimed to demonstrate how the use of Project Cycle Management (PCM) had significantly contributed to sound project and Programme planning and management. Managing Authorities representatives, regional implementing bodies, and project managers from French-speaking Belgium, Italy, Lithuania, UKgb showcased their successful experiences in PCM application in the context of the ESF-funded EQUAL Community Initiative.
The workshops attracted approx. 100 participants from regional organisations, and to a large extent from outside the world of EQUAL and the ESF framework. The involvement of the audience in all workshops showed that the lessons from EQUAL are of general interest.
