Sound Planning CoP meets Etienne Wenger
Dear all,
last October,15th-16th a Conference focused on the role of the information and communication technologies for promoting social inclusion and lifelong learning in the framework of the european Lisbon strategy, was held in Lisbon.(see the EU Conference eLearning Lisboa 2007 posts in this weblog).
In this context, as you maybe remember, our collegues from Portugal, Emilia and Ana, invited us to join a specific session with Etienne Wenger, a recognized thought leader of communities of practice.
Recently, communities of practice have become part of the discourse of the ESF network and this initiative, organized by the Equal Managing Authority, aimed to give us the opportunity to share collectives experiences, problems and solutions that we were facing in our CoPs and receiving specific support.
In this brief video interview, taken during this meeting, Etienne Wenger explain his opinion on how to encourage participation and create a common identity at a European level (domain).
